- On Wednesday, police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 100 block of North Second Street. The victim told police someone had egged his vehicle; there was also egg smeared on his windows. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Wednesday, police received a report about a male causing a disturbance at a residence on South Franklin Street. The victim told police a known male arrived and directed threatening statements toward him. The victim, however, didn’t want to pursue charges but wanted police to tell the male not to return. Police were unable to make contact with the male, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Thursday, police received a report about an incident of fraud from a resident on East Long Avenue. The victim told police that someone made a transaction in the amount of $100 in the state of Washington with his checking account. Police contacted the store where the transaction occurred, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Thursday, police received a report about juveniles busting glass bottles against trees in the city park. Upon arrival police found the juveniles had left the scene. However, police located glass and disposed of it. Police are reviewing surveillance for the suspects; the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Friday, police received a report about a small black bear running around in the area of Long Avenue and Brady Street. Police searched the area for the bear but were not able to locate it.
