Joyce T. Gosch, 75, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Jan. 31, 1939 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles K. and Becky (Erb) Tritt.
On Aug. 26, 1988, she married Henry Gosch. He survives.
She retired from Bell Telephone as an engineer after 36 years of service.
She loved helping people and volunteering. She helped for many years with hospice and was very active with the C.I.C. Volunteer Group in Treasure Lake. She was a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed retirement with her husband, traveling, working outside, especially pulling weeds and taking trips to Seneca Allegheny Casino. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her step-daughter-in-law, Barb Graham of Gettysburg; her step-son, David Gosch of Millersville, Md.; and her step-daughter, Kristen Dunn and her husband, Gary of Penfield; a brother, James Tritt of Harrisburg; four nieces and nephews; and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-son, David Graham.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lakeside United Methodist Church with Pastor Robert Zilhaver officiating.
Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
