Barbara Jean Carney, 77, of Clearfield died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
She was born Sept. 13, 1936, in Clearfield, the daughter of Anthony J. Gregus, Sr., and Susanne (Evanko) Gregus.
Ms. Carney had worked as a registered nurse.
She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
She’s survived by two sons, Michael S. Stevens of Clearfield and Scott A. Kline and his wife, Nicole of Parkesburg and three grandchildren, Talia, Don and Rheya Kline.
She was the last member of her generation and preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Anthony Gregus; and a sister, Cecilia Fultz.
Honoring Ms. Carneys’ wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
