Debra Ann Passarelli Ondo, 65, of Kittanning and formerly of Curwensville, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 after a brief illness.
Born Jan. 9, 1949 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Mario “Milo” and Anne (Truhlik) Passarelli. Mrs. Ondo was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning. She was a life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Auxiliary.
She was a graduate of the Curwensville Area High School and the DuBois Business College.
She wed Thomas Ondo on Feb. 16, 1985 and who survives along with two brothers, Gary and Edward Passarelli, both of Curwensville, two step-daughters, Jennifer Roberts and her husband, David of Indiana and Christine Brumley and her husband, Steve of Delaware. Also surviving are five step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, 306 Walnut St., Curwensville, with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee Jr. as celebrant. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc., 300 State St. Curwensville, when the procession will depart for the church.
