Penn State Altoona Presents Cabaret Puppet Theater

ALTOONA – Penn State Altoona’s Division of Arts and Humanities invites the community to experience the hilarious frenzy and explosive puppet theater performance that is Incongruous.

Created by Carlos Ruiz, theater arts instructor, Incongruous is based on real stories about those living with physical disabilities.  This “newly-abled” puppet show bares all to help the audience become less prejudiced and friendlier toward the different, the eerie, the weird, and the odd.

Performances are May 1 at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. and May 2 at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. in 150 Hawthorn. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 general admission. The performances are suitable for anyone over 16.

Tickets are available at the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts, Monday – Friday,
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and before and during all performances. For further information, call
814-949-5452 or visit the Penn State Altoona Web site at www.altoona.psu.edu.
