Carmella A. Hampton, 70, of Bellefonte and formerly of Osceola Mills died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte.
She was the daughter of the late Rudolph R. and Mary (Bonfitto) Myers born June 25, 1943 in Connecticut. She married Stacy Jack Hampton on April 4, 1960; he preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1995.
Mrs. Hampton was of the United Methodist Faith. She was retired from the former Piper Aircraft.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Hampton and two sisters, Harriet Domanick and Joyce Butler.
Mrs. Hampton is survived by a daughter, Cindy Stetler and her husband, Zane of Bellefonte; a brother Peter R. Myers and his wife, Joanie of Morann; and two granddaughters, Whitney Lynne Ferguson and Hayley Jennifer Ferguson.
A private service was held Wednesday in the Chapel of the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating.
There was no viewing or visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills.
