CLEARFIELD – On March 11, the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library hosted “Professor Hooley Comes Home!” The program, which was sponsored by the Clearfield Woman’s Club, featured children’s author, Michael Hughes.
Hughes came dressed as the Professor M.R. Hooley, a character he created. He shared his published book Penelope Skunk Has Junk in her Trunk. Children in attendance enjoyed a coloring activity and refreshments. Additionally, a raffle was held to award a stuffed skunk to one lucky child during the program.
