CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc.’s Advisory Council recognized former council member, Richard Butler, at their February meeting.
Butler (right) was honored with an engraved plaque recognizing his years of dedicated service to the council. Advisory Council President, Nancy Smeal (left), is shown presenting the plaque.
The council meets monthly to discuss the needs of older citizens throughout Clearfield County. Council members are expected to carry out three primary roles: monitor existing services to assure that they successfully meet the needs of the aging; advocate for meeting the continuing needs of the again; assess and evaluate unmet needs of the aging.
