DuBois Man Arrested for Domestic Violence Incident

DUBOIS – On Wednesday, David Emel, 20, of DuBois was arrested on domestic violence charges after an alleged incident at an East Park Avenue residence, reported the DuBois City police.

Emel, police allege, struck his girlfriend and smashed a glass bowl over her head. When police were taking him into custody, he allegedly struck one of the officers in the head and scratched another’s face, causing injuries.

He was arrested and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland. He was placed in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
