CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County DUI Strike Force will conduct roving patrols this weekend as part of the St. Patrick’s Day impaired driving enforcement period. The patrols will take place in jurisdictions throughout the county.
During the enforcement, officers will be watching for drivers who exhibit signs of impairment by drugs and or alcohol.
PennDOT data for Clearfield County shows that in 2012, eight people were killed in crashes in which alcohol was involved. During the same year, police agencies in the county investigated 102 alcohol-related crashes.
