CRC Receives Contribution from Starr Hill “Clearfield” Wine

CLEARFIELD – Starr Hill Winery Owner, Kenn Starr, recently presented a donation for $413 to Clearfield Revitalization Corp. Main Street Manager Heather Bozovich and Director of Planning and Development Chris Renaud for sales from the third-edition wine of Clearfield.

Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery donates $1 from every bottle of Clearfield wine sold to the CRC.  Each year the CRC and Starr Hill Winery partner to create a new label that represents Clearfield.

The fourth-edition Clearfield wine was just unveiled in February at the Groundhog Wine Festival and is currently available at any of Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery’s four locations: inside County Market in Philipsburg and the Clearfield Mall, inside the Dubois Shop ‘n Save and the winery in Curwensville.

“For the past four years, Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery has helped showcase Clearfield and contributed to our revitalization efforts. The CRC is extremely grateful for their partnership” stated Bozovich.

Starr stated, “We currently participate in over 50 off-site wine events throughout the State of Pennsylvania.  Every time we bring the “Clearfield” wine, we get many comments about our great town.

“We look forward to contributing to the CRC revitalization efforts and look forward to seeing the continued efforts of the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.”

The CRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on donations from local businesses and residents.  Financial contributions to the CRC strengthen efforts to maintain a community-based, sustainable initiative to revitalize downtown Clearfield.
