CPCA Receives $2,500 Donation

PHILIPSBURG – Central Pennsylvania Community Action (CPCA) recently received a donation from the Philipsburg M&T Bank.

The Philipsburg M&T Bank donated $2,500 to the Philipsburg Food Pantry. This donation will be used to supplement the Philipsburg Food Pantry’s needs and to purchase items that will be given to area recipients.

The CPCA operates seven food pantries, located in Centre County. More than 4,900 Centre County residents benefited from food pantry services in the past year.

In 2013, the CPCA served more than 15,900 unduplicated individuals through its vast array of services. The CPCA’s primary services include housing services, weatherization, rental housing, case management, food services, heating and utility assistance, employment assistance and training, consumer information and referral and transportation services.
