DUBOIS – Reservations are now being accepted for the DuBois Area Historical Society’s eighth annual Luncheon on March 15 at 12 p.m. in the DuBois Senior Center. The cost is $10 and includes soup, salad, sandwich and dessert.
“Women in Service” is the theme for this Women’s History Month program. Karen Aravich, who is retired from the U.S. Air Force, will speak about, Women’s Role in Today’s Military;” and three women, portraying women from the World War II time period, will relate their experiences from several different perspectives. Last year, a record 88 people attended the luncheon.

Eleven members and guests attended the Feb. 19 meeting of the DuBois Area Historical Society, which featured guest speaker, Galen Kilmer. Kilmer talked about the “Camp Mountain Run Cooperative Trout Nursery,” relating its history and how it aids the trout stocking program in Pennsylvania.
