CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has lifted the speed limit restrictions that were in place on interstates in District 2.
Due to the winter conditions that impacted the region this morning, speed limits were reduced to 45 miles per hour. As of 11:07 a.m., speed limits have been restored on the following roadways:
- I-80 in Clearfield, Centre, and Clinton counties;
- I-99 in Centre County.
Two roadways in District 2 remain closed at this hour. The closed roadways include:
- Interstate 80 westbound between Exit 133 (Philipsburg/Kylertown) and Exit 120 (Clearfield/Shawville) in Clearfield County. This roadway is now expected to re-open in this area by 10 p.m.;
- Route 453 in both directions between O’Shanter Road in Pike Township, Clearfield County, to Irvin Park Road/Trails End Road in Curwensville Borough, Clearfield County.
