Speed Restrictions Lifted, Section of I-80 in Clearfield County Remains Closed

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has lifted the speed limit restrictions that were in place on interstates in District 2.

Due to the winter conditions that impacted the region this morning, speed limits were reduced to 45 miles per hour. As of 11:07 a.m., speed limits have been restored on the following roadways:

Motorists may check conditions on more than 2,900 miles of interstates and other major highways by calling 5-1-1 or visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24-hours-a-day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, average traffic speeds on urban interstates and access to more than 670 traffic cameras.
