Fitness and Wellness Center to Offer Program

TYRONE – The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center will provide a free educational program entitled “How to Create, Organize and Start an Exercise Program.”

Individuals who attend the program will learn how to create an exercise plan, how to tailor an exercise plan to your unique needs, what exercises to include in your plan, proper exercise form and safety, instruction on how to perform certain key exercises and important muscle groups to work.

The program will be held March 17 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the main lobby at the new Tyrone Health & Wellness Building, located on the Tyrone Hospital campus, at 154 Hospital Dr., Tyrone, PA 16686.

The program will be presented by Tyler Hunter, who is a personal trainer at the Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center.

The program is free and open to the public. RSVP is requested as seating is limited.  To reserve your seat or for more information, you can call the Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center at 814-684-2117.

The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center offers monthly health and wellness classes that are free and open to the public.

The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center was developed through a partnership between ProCare Fitness and Tyrone Hospital.  The facility is located on the Tyrone Hospital Campus at 154 Hospital Dr., Suite 1, in Tyrone.

The facility is outfitted with a broad range of fitness equipment, offers a variety of fitness and wellness programs, group fitness classes and the services of a health coach. The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center is open to the public and serves people age 18 and older.
