DUBOIS – Two information sessions are planned for individuals interested in learning more about educational opportunities and careers in telecommunications.
At the sessions, Continuing Education professionals from Penn State DuBois will provide an overview of the Telecommunications Technologies Certification program. The program and information sessions are open to anyone interested in starting a new career in this growing industry.
The information sessions will provide potential students with details about the 110-hour Telecommunications Technologies Certification program, which certifies individuals as Level I Technicians in network cabling in both copper-based and fiber optic systems. Individuals will have a chance to meet the instructor, see demonstrations of training equipment used, and learn about funding that may be available to them to help cover the cost of tuition.
Information sessions are planned for 1:30 p.m. March 5, and 6:30 p.m. March 6. Both will be held at the Brockway Center for Arts and Technology, 1200 Wood St., in Brockway.
