CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc.’s Advisory Council recently held its January meeting.
Rose Smith (left) was honored with an engraved plaque recognizing her eight years of dedicated service to the council. Kathleen Gillespie (right), chief executive officer for the CCAAA Inc., is shown presenting the plaque.
The council meets monthly to discuss the needs of older citizens throughout Clearfield County. Council members are expected to carry out three primary roles: monitor existing services to assure that they successfully meet the needs of the aging; advocate for meeting the continuing needs of the aging; assess and evaluate unmet needs of the aging.
