Ronald W. “Ron” Litz, 54, of (Parsonville) Houtzdale died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
He was the son of the late Fred Litz, Sr. and Betty (Lumadue) Litz born Dec. 14, 1959 in Clearfield. He married Michele (Holmes) Litz on Aug. 17, 1996 in Clearfield; she survives at home.
Mr. Litz was of the Christian faith. He was a transporter for Cen-Clear Child Care Services of Philipsburg and a 1977 graduate of the Clearfield High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Litz Jr.
Along with his wife, Mr. Litz is survived by a daughter, Cassie L. Litz of (Parsonville) Houtzdale and a sister, Darlene Litz-Gross and her husband, Dwight Gross of Clearfield.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Ernest E. Simmers officiating.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
