CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners have announced that applications are being accepted for 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.
Funds may be expended directly for eligible projects that serve one or more of the 45 non-entitlement boroughs and or townships in Clearfield County.
The first public meeting for the county’s CDBG funding will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 13. The meeting will be held in the conference room at the Clearfield County Administrative Offices, located at 212 E. Locust St.
CDBG funding requires that at least 51 percent of the project’s beneficiaries be of low to moderate income. CDBG guidelines will be discussed at the public meeting, as well as the complete request for proposal application process.
Municipalities that intend to apply for the 2014 CDBG funding are required to have a representative at the public meeting. For more information, please contact Lisa Kovalick, community development specialist, at 814-765-5149.
