Since late last year, the editorial staff at The Pennsylvania Business Central has been gathering nominations for the publication’s highly anticipated Top 100 People of 2013.

This year’s nominations included top executives from some of the most successful companies, along with business people from all levels who have made a major impact in their community and B2B world throughout the past year. Leaders from other organizations like chambers of commerce and planning commissions were also nominated.

The Pennsylvania Business Central is proud to announce this year’s Top 100 People of 2013, with representation from the readership area of all 22 counties covered by the publication.

The members of this year’s list have had a significant impact in the business community, from job creation, building expansion and improvements, to fiscal growth or community involvement.

Additionally, nominees were asked to provide a fact about themselves that few people knew about them. And while not all of the nominees answered the question, the many who did provided an interesting kaleidoscope of replies.

“We are very pleased with the record number of nominations submitted this year for our annual Top 100 People edition,” said Publisher David Wells. “All 22 counties are represented and the finalists are an excellent representation of those business and community leaders who help propel our region forward.

“Since 1991, The Pennsylvania Business Central has been central Pennsylvania’s leader in the B2B world, and both the Top 100 People and Top 100 Organization lists provide unique opportunity to tell the stories of those leading the charge.”

The Top 100 People of 2013 list was published on Jan. 24. Copies can be obtained at local chambers of commerce, university small business centers, as well as at additional locations listed here.

The Top 100 Organizations of 2013 list will be published Feb. 21.
