Bonita R. “Bonnie” Kephart, 70, of West Decatur died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at her residence.
Born May 25, 1943 in Morrisdale, she was a daughter of the late David A. and Belle E. (Shimmel) Dixon. On April 9, 1960 in West Decatur, she married Richard L. Kephart. He died Feb. 5, 2009.
She’s survived by a daughter, Terrilee A. Watro of Snow Shoe; a son, Tracy W. Kephart and his wife, Adena of Ashland; three brothers, Marshall Dixon of Allport, Stanley Dixon of East Aurora, NY and Edward Dixon and his wife, Janet of Gearhartville; two sisters, Clemence Herrington and her husband, Jack of Philipsburg and Lila Stephens Wagner of West Decatur; and two grandchildren, Brittny Kephart and Kyle Watro.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Dixon and Eloise Dixon and a brother, Claude “Dee” Dixon.
She was a former owner of Kinetic Kuts of Clearfield, and was also a general manager of General Nutrition Center of Clearfield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Philipsburg.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Feb. 15 at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, with Pastor Ted G. Seibert officiating.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Feb. 15 at the funeral home.
