CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week.
Shaw identified the fugitive as Lindsey Kathleen Allen, 30, of Mineral Springs. Allen is wanted in two, separate cases for failure to appear at arraignment court on Dec. 4, 2013.
On Oct. 4, 2013, Patrolman Elliot Neeper of the Lawrence Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint against Allen. He charged Allen with retail theft.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, on Oct. 2, 2013, police were dispatched to a Clearfield business for a report of retail theft. Video surveillance showed Allen concealing merchandise in her purse and leaving the business without paying for the items.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 6, 2013, at which time all charges were held for court.
In a separate case, Officer Jon Walker of the Lawrence Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint on Oct. 21, 2013. He charged Allen with retail theft and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.
According to the affidavit of probable cause for that case, on Oct. 10, 2013, police were dispatched to a Clearfield business for a report of retail theft in progress. Upon investigation it was found that Allen had concealed items and attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 6, 2013, at which time all charges were held for court.
Allen is described as a Caucasian female who stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall. She has blue eyes and blonde hair.
