Anthony W. “Tony” Pavlick II, 52, of Philipsburg died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
He was the son of Anthony W. Pavlick Sr. and Beatrice (Herr) Pavlick, who survive of Philipsburg. He was born on Nov. 23, 1961 in Philipsburg. He is also survived by his long-time girl-friend, Paula Faust, of Tyrone.
Mr. Pavlick was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Philipsburg and was a member of the Clearfield Beagle Club. He had worked for the General Cigar Plant in Philipsburg, State of the Art in State College and lastly for American Home Patient.
He was a 1979 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
In addition to his parents and girlfriend, Mr. Pavlick is survived by two daughters, Mandi L. Reed and her husband, Richard of Philipsburg and Brianna Dawn Pavlick of Munson; a sister, Patty Shaw and her husband, Jeff of Philipsburg; two grandsons, Richie and Joey Reed of Philipsburg; and several nieces and nephews, including a great-nephew, Cameron Dixon of Philipsburg, to whom he was especially close.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, with the Rev. Mark Thumma officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
