HYDE — Because of school closings due to the frigid weather Tuesday, two Clearfield Area High School athletic events were postponed, and both have been rescheduled.
Athletic director Robert Gearhart announced the home wrestling match with Penns Valley was moved to Wednesday, with the first varsity bout set for approximately 7 p.m. The junior high meet will begin at five o’clock.
Tuesday, Jan. 28, is the make-up date for the Bison’s non-league basketball game at Brookville.
Also, the Bison’s Mountain League game with Tyrone that was postponed Monday night because of the low temperatures and wind chill Monday night now is set for Thursday, according to Gearhart.
The Clearfield boys team will go on the road for a ML game against Penns Valley Friday.
