Andrea L. (Snyder) Stanton, 46, of Ramey died at the Clearfield Hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
Born March 6, 1967 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Clair M. “Tom” and Lorraine D. (Kitko) Snyder. She was a 1985 graduate of Moshannon Valley Junior-Senior High School.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale. She was attending the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center, where she was enrolled in the LPN Program and held top honors in her class.
Prior to attending school, she worked as a medical record tech for several doctors. She enjoyed coaching eighth grade soccer at the Bigler YMCA.
She’s survived by two sons and one daughter, Anthony Snyder of Coalport and Jacob A. Stanton and Abigail E. Stanton, both of Ramey, and her former husband, Jason Stanton of Smithmill.
She’s also survived by five brothers and one sister, Thomas Snyder and his wife, Barbara and Donald Snyder and his wife, Teresa, both of Ramey; Gregory Snyder and his wife, Marlene of Coral Springs, Fla.; Robert Snyder and his wife, Karen of Meadville; Patrick Snyder and his wife, Nancy of Chicago, IL; DeAnna Nasso and her husband, Joseph of Hamburg, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Christ the King Church, Houtzdale, with Fr. Stanley J. Swacha as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Madera.
