MORRIS TOWNSHIP – The investigation is continuing into an incident during which a 4-year-old girl was found without any supervision on Wednesday at a Morris Township home, reported the state police at Clearfield.
The girl contacted state police out of concern, because she was at home alone. After a long phone call, state police determined the girl’s home was along the Morrisdale – Allport Highway. Upon arrival state police found the girl without any supervision.
Upon searching the home, state police found a 32-year-old Morrisdale man passed out and highly intoxicated. The man was placed in the Clearfield County Jail for a probation violation. The girl, state police said, was released to her grandparents.
