Five Points Bridge on Route 3014 Re-opened Today

Repairs complete; detour lifted

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT re-opened the Five Points Bridge on Route 3014 in Chest Township, Clearfield County earlier today. The bridge spans Chest Creek near the intersection with Route 36. PennDOT closed the bridge in late September when inspection revealed the need for immediate repairs.

With repairs complete, a detour using Route 36, Route 3006 (Westover Road), and Route 3001 (Ridge Road) has been lifted.

Crews from Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. of State College made the repairs at a cost of $250,000. This repair project was a cooperative effort between PennDOT and Rosebud Mining.

PennDOT thanks drivers for their patience during this closure and reminds them to obey posted speed limits, and always buckle up.
