Jonathan F. “Jack” Wisor, 79, of Clearfield died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at Ridgeview Elder Care.
Born July 17, 1934 in Shawville, he was the son of Gordon and Dorkcas (Rauch) Wisor. He worked for various local coal companies as a heavy equipment operator.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was United Methodist by faith.
Mr. Wisor was proceded in death by his parents; his companion of 34 years, Shirley Fleck; two brothers, Robert and Donald Wisor; three sisters, Dorothy Sabol, Dora Wilhelm and Margaret Folmar; and infant twins, Lillian and Leman Wisor.
He is survived by two sisters, Norma Kukla and Patricia Wertz, both of Philipsburg; three daughters; a son; and the four children of his late partner.
Funeral services for Mr. Wisor will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc of Clearfield with the Rev. John F. White officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery, Glen Richey.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
