Pinspirtation: Last-minute Christmas Gift Ideas

Christmastime has descended upon us. Here are some easy, last-minute gift ideas.

  1. “We Whisk you a Merry KISSmas.” You can fill a whisk with chocolate kisses and then add your own fun, home-made tag.
  2. Here is an idea for a big kid for whom you don’t know what to buy. You can tie ribbons around money and write “Gingerbread men with yummy icing are oh so good and enticing. I set out to make you a dozen or two, but time ran out, so now what to do. So instead of cookies, I tied with a bow, your own personal serving of holiday dough.”
  3. You can make a snowman marshmallow ornament. Taking a clear Christmas ball ornament, fill it with marshmallows and paint a snowman’s face on the outside.
  4. You can make Christmas peppermint cocoa in a jar. For this recipe, you’ll fill a jar with one-half cup of milk chocolate hot cocoa mix, two tablespoons of crushed mints, one ounce of chopped semi-sweet chocolate and one-half cup of mini marshmallows. You’ll layer the ingredients in a one-and-one-half cup jar.
  5. You can bake brownies or cookies in Christmas cookie cutters. Then, you can decorate and give them away as Christmas gifts.
  6. You can wrap up a roll of change. (This would also make for an easy stocking stuffer).
  7. You can take a pair of mittens and fill them with pine branches. This could be a simple home accent for any friend or family member around the holidays.
  8. You can take an empty wine bottle and fill it with a strand of Christmas lights. Then, you can add your own festive touch when decorating the outside of the bottle.
  9. You can take a clear Christmas ball ornament and fill it with one packet of hot cocoa. Then, add chopped up candy cane, chocolate chips and festive Christmas sprinkles.
  10. 10. You can make your friend or family member a Christmas morning breakfast basket. You can include goodies, such as home-made breads, muffins, etc. with some jam and a package of coffee.
