Frenchville Couple Faces Charges for Domestic Assault Incident

COVINGTON TOWNSHIP – A Frenchville couple was arrested on simple assault and terroristic threats charges after an incident Sunday on Dales Drive in Covington Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.

Noah I. Yoder and Amy Jo Campbell, both of Frenchville, engaged in a domestic dispute. During the dispute, Campbell allegedly threw a candle, which struck Yoder’s head.

Yoder then allegedly pointed an empty Ruger 357 Magnum at Campbell’s head. He also allegedly threatened to shoot her, state police said.

Both Yoder and Campbell were arrested for the domestic assault and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland. Yoder and Campbell were placed in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
