Wine Festival Slated for Feb. 1

CLEARFIELD – The seventh annual Groundhog Wine Trail Festival will be held Feb. 1, 2014 at the Expo II Building at the Clearfield Driving Park.

Pre-sale tickets are now available and will be mailed directly to attendees. If you purchase a pre-sale ticket, you will not stand in line at the door the day of the event.

Any attendee who purchases a pre-sale ticket will present it at the door.  At that time, you will receive a wristband and can go directly to pick up your wine glass. However, event organizers have requested that you do not ask for wine samples until the festival begins.

Attendees can enter information on the ticket stub.  The stub will be used for the door prize drawing.  There will be door prizes for each session of the wine festival.

Tickets will be $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door.  In addition, tickets for designated drivers are $10 each. Anyone interested can call Starr Hill Winery at 814-236-0910 on weekdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Starr Hill staff will need your name, address, telephone number and Visa/MasterCard information. You will also be asked to specify which session you would like to attend.

Sessions will be held from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at Starr Hill Winery & Outlets at the Clearfield Mall, County Market in Philipsburg and Fezells Shop & Save in Dubois.  The deadline for pre-sale ticket orders is Jan. 15.
