Hackenberg selected Big Ten Freshman of the Year

Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg (Palmyra, Va.) has been named the Big Ten Conference’s Thompson-Randel El Freshman of the Year, giving the Nittany Lions consecutive winners of the honor.
