Abington student athletes launch Blue Crew spirit club

The Blue Crew is the brainchild of four Penn State Abington student athletes who want to fill the stands and the fields with passionate fans. According to Assistant Athletic Director Noelle Powell, Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) officers Brian Camp, Jess Schmidt and Kate Haas as well as Avery Barnes, a junior men’s basketball player, have been instrumental in launching the effort.
