John Roger Stewart Sr., 70, of Osceola Mills did Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 at his home.
He was the son of the late W. John Stewart and E. Jayne (Williams) Stewart Webster, born Sept. 14, 1943 in Osceola Mills. On Jan. 27, 1968, he married Gloria A. (Mumma) Stewart in Pine Grove, who survives him at home.
Mr. Stewart was Presbyterian by faith and was a retired construction worker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Audrey Louise Stewart, Darla Koppenhaver and Carol Ryen Bezilla and a brother, Steven Stewart.
Along with his wife, Mr. Stewart is survived by two daughters, Deanna Benner and her husband, Brice of Tampa, Fla. and Lorie Haney and her husband. Kevin of Osceola Mills; a son, John R. Stewart of Osceola Mills; a sister, Debra Bauman and her husband, Roger of Morrisdale; two brothers, Dean Stewart and his wife, Bonnie of Jonestown and Mark Stewart and his wife, Sue of (Zion) Bellefonte; and seven grandchildren, Justin Benner, Brice Benner, Nathan Benner, Breck Stewart, Steven Stewart Brandon Haney and Megan Haney.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with Pastor Stanley Wisor officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service Tuesday at the funeral home.
