Clearfield Area United Way Chief Professional Officer Nancy Pinto, center, recently delivered dozens of books as part of the CAUW’s Reading Ripples Project to Marian House staff. She presented them to Angela Larson, left, who is the day director and Sister Ruth Ann Madera, Marian House director. The Marian House is one of the United Way’s 25 local member agencies.

“The United Way’s Campaign is going on now; when you help the United Way, it helps so many other important agencies that touch lives from infants to the elderly throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County,” said Michele Fannin CAUW campaign chairperson.

“We are at 70 percent and need the public’s help. Donations, which are tax deductible, can be made to CAUW, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830.”
