- On Wednesday, police contacted a male about a fraud incident. Further, the victim told police that he received a package from Florida that included two money orders, which he didn’t cash. The victim reported the scam to police.
- On Thursday, police responded to a report of a drunken female in the Liberty Parking Lot on South Brady Street. Upon police arrival, the female was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center – West due to her level of intoxication. She was also cited for public drunkenness.
- Police responded to a hit-and-run accident in the alley behind the Eastside Sports Bar. Further, the victim told police that his vehicle had been struck by another vehicle on Wednesday while it was parked there. The investigation is continuing at this time.
- On Thursday, police responded to a reported fight at the intersection of Knarr Street and Olive Avenue. Upon arrival police contacted the complainant who advised that everything was OK and a fight hadn’t occurred there.
- Police responded to an alleged assault Thursday that occurred in the 500 block of Chestnut Avenue. Further, the victim told police that she’d been assaulted by a known female who walked up the street yelling at her and who started punching her in the face. The victim also told police that the female started kicking her when she was down on the ground. The investigation is continuing with charges pending at this time.
