Police Report: Clearfield PSP

Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident Wednesday on Glendale Boulevard in Beccaria Township. Brooke LeGrand, 21, of Coalport was traveling south when she failed to see another vehicle stopped to make a turn. As a result, she swerved into the northbound lane to avoid hitting the other vehicle. She lost control of her vehicle and went off the left berm at the intersection with Gill Hollow Road, where she struck an embankment. She was wearing her seatbelt and transported to UMPC Altoona for treatment. Her vehicle sustained severe damage to the right, front corner and was towed from the scene. LeGrand was cited for the accident.
