UNIVERSITY PARK – The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present “Preparing Your Job Talk” from 1:45 p.m. – 3 p.m. Nov. 20, in 201 Chambers Building and from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21, in 315 Rider Building.
Are you a graduate student starting to look for a job? This interactive workshop will focus on how to give an effective job talk in an academic setting. Learn important elements to be included in any job talk, how to structure your talk for a specific audience and more. This workshop is part of a three-seminar series focusing on professional development and preparation for the job market.
All graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
