Stephanie M. Thompson, 64, of West Decatur died at her home. She was born Oct. 27, 1948 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Rockey) Metzler.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, and also a member of the Endometriosis Association.
She is survived by four children, Shawn Thompson of Taylorsville, KY; Shannon Thompson and Shea Thompson and his wife, Mirian, both of Virginia Beach, VA; and Jennifer Kubay of Gibsonia; nine grandsons and two granddaughters; two sisters, Patricia McGuckin of North Wales and Rita Metzler of Philadelphia; and a brother, Leo J. Metzler and his wife, Margaret of North Wales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary W. Thompson on May 27, 1998 and whom she wed Oct. 23, 1968 in Philadelphia. She was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Abigail Thompson; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Thompson; and a brother, Robert Metzler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee Jr. as celebrant. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the church.
