Kathryn A. (Bedekovich) Fulare, 85 of Ramey died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Hillview, Altoona.
Born March 27, 1928 in Smoke Run, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Trdin) Bedekovich.
Mrs. Fulare graduated in 1945 from the former Madera High School. On May 14, 1949 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, she married Lewis F. Fulare, who survives of Ramey.
She was a homemaker. She had also worked as a wrapper layer at the former General Cigar Plant in Philipsburg for 20 years.
Mrs. Fulare was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Rosary Society, Madera.
She is survived by a daughter and three sons, Carol Owens (Ed) of Shawville; Lewis Fulare Jr. (Ouida) and their son, Alex of Centre Hall; Jerome Fulare (Francine) of Altoona and their children, Ashlan, Samantha and Christopher; and Thomas Fulare (Michelle) and their children, Baliegh and Barry Michael of Coalport.
Also surviving are a sister, Mary Vettek and her son, Michael (Pat) Vettek of Long Island, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Fulare was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Knapp and a brother, Joseph Bedekovich.
A private family visitation will be held at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Christ the King Church, Houtzdale.
Burial services will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madera.
