Geraldine L. Selfridge, 71, of Sandy Ridge died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late James W. and Jennie (Combe) Mayes born July 13, 1942 in Brisbin. She married Daniel J. Selfridge Jr. on March 20, 1961 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1999.
Mrs. Selfridge was of the Christian faith.
She retired from Centre Engineering and had worked for the former Carefree Manor in Osceola Mills. She was a 1960 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Joan Hughes, Judith Rainey, Patricia Corrigan and Helen Moore and two brothers, Jack “Ish” Mayes and Charles “Butch” Mayes.
Mrs. Selfridge is survived by a daughter, Sheri Dawn Selfridge of Milesburg; a son, Daniel J. Selfridge III and his wife, Kathy of Yorktown, VA; and five grandchildren, Katie Selfridge, Hannah Selfridge, Brittany Barker, Bethany Barker and Travis Barker.
There will be no funeral service, viewing or visitation. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills.
