The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home recently held its 13 annual Holiday Celebration of Memories on Nov. 7 in the sanctuary of the St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield.
Participants in the service included, the Rev. Robert. Way, pastor of the St. John’s, as the leader, Father Brandon Kleckner, priest at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, who provided words of hope and inspiration for the upcoming holidays and Robin Stewart, the organist for St. John’s.
“It is our pleasure to continue this annual service and assist families who have suffered a loss, be it just this past year or in previous years, and to help them better understand and cope with the upcoming holiday season,” stated Kevin Beardsley, owner of the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home.
“The service includes a time for family members to light a candle in memory of their loved one. That simple act, along with the comforting words provided by Father Brandon, reassures everyone that there is hope throughout the holiday season.” Following the service, a time of light refreshments and fellowship was enjoyed by all.
