Tammy L. (Bixler) Selfridge, 51, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at her residence. She was born Jan. 11, 1962 in Pottsville, the daughter of the late Lyle F. and Shirley Ann (Bixler) Bixler.
She was a house wife and mother. She was a 1979 graduate of the Clearfield High School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed reading and loved her pets and animals and planting flowers every year.
She’s survived by her husband, Steve Selfridge, whom she married in 2001 and two sons Justin A. Millinder of Clearfield and Jonathan M. Millinder of West Decatur.
Surviving are two step-daughters, Stephanie R. Selfridge of Osceola Mills and Laurel E. Selfridge of Clearfield; her grandchildren, Jacob A. Millinder, Lydia R. Millinder and Brody R. Jasper; a sister, Lynne D. Danielson and her husband, Steve of Alexandria, VA; a brother, Kyle H. Bixler and his wife, Diana of Clearfield; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger L. and Marilyn A. Selfridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Anna Marie (Dandrea) Bixler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in LaJose.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made in memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
