- On Tuesday, police responded for people who were attempting to break into a residence in the 300 block of Daly Street. Upon arrival police spoke with the individuals involved, and they alleged the victim had previously stolen money from them. They told police they were trying to get back the money. However, the victim told police they hadn’t stolen any money and didn’t want to pursue charges.
- Police received a report about suspicious circumstances Tuesday at a residence in the 100 block of South High Street. The victim told police that an unknown male was outside of her apartment and might have tried to get in it. However, police found the male hadn’t gained access to her apartment, and nothing had been stolen. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Tuesday, police responded to the intersection of South Jared Street and West Washington Avenue, where a female was running from five males and yelling for help. Upon police arrival, the female reported that she was trying to get away from her ex-boyfriend and the other males were trying to help her. The female was a juvenile and released to her mother. Police interviewed everyone involved with the incident and then cleared the scene.
