Frances E. ‘Fran’ Dunworth, 81, of Grampian died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at her home. She was born Aug. 1, 1932, a daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Pentz) Addleman.
Mrs. Dunworth was a member of Curwensville First Baptist Church, where she was an aide with the pre-school for more than 20 years. Mrs. Dunworth had also been employed at Rohrbaugh Insurance as a secretary for five years.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Dunworth, whom she wed Dec. 24, 1955 in Grampian; three daughters, Gail Winslow and her husband, Greg of Rockton, Connie Dunworth of DuBois and Sharon Stott and her husband, Lee of Grampian. She was ‘Mamaw’ to three granddaughters, Mandy Greene and her husband, Michael of Clearfield, Christy Patterson of DuBois and Sarah Winslow of Rockton; and a great-granddaughter, Marissa Greene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Dunworth and two brothers, Howard and Orvis Addleman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville, with the Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Burial will be in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
