CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of Oct. 28. Shaw identified the fugitive as James Casey Lockett, 30, of Maple Street, Ramey.
On July 16, 2013, Trooper Justin Yost of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield barracks, filed a criminal complaint. He charged Lockett with receiving stolen property.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on May 9, the Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to a residence on Maple Street in Gulich Township for a report about a stolen all-terrain vehicle. Upon investigation it was found that a witness had observed Lockett operating the ATV, and the ATV was subsequently located at Lockett’s residence. The ATV was valued at approximately $1,700.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aug. 7, at which time Lockett failed to appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Lockett is described as a Caucasian male who stands 6 feet, 3 inches tall. He was blue eyes and brown hair.
