- An incident of theft occurred Thursday in the 300 block of South Main Street. The victim told police that on Oct. 5, someone stole a greed garden hose and gray reel cart from their residence. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- A domestic dispute occurred Thursday on Chestnut Street. Upon arrival police encountered a 36-year-old man who advised his mother had struck him in the head with a two-liter bottle of soda while he was sleeping. He didn’t want to file charges, and police didn’t observe any injuries on him. When police attempted to contact the man’s mother, she refused to come out of her bedroom. She continuously yelled that she wanted her son removed from the residence and alleged he was a thief. When asked what her son had stolen from her she wouldn’t answer. No charges were filed as a result of the incident.
- On Thursday, a man arrived at the police station to report an incident of harassment. He told police that his ex-wife keeps calling and harassing him. Further, he told police she’s even call him at work to get him in trouble. The man was given information about getting a protection from abuse order while the investigation is continuing.
