Police Report: Clearfield PSP

A two-vehicle accident occurred Saturday on South Second Street in Lawrence Township. Lettie J. Morrison, 79, of Hyde was leaving the parking lot of the Old Town Road Dairy. At the time, Anchique E. NewKirk, 33, of Curwensville was traveling on South Second Street when Morrison entered the roadway directly in the path of her vehicle. As a result of the accident, both Morrison and Newkirk and their passengers were transported to the Clearfield Hospital. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. Morrison will be cited for the accident. State police were assisted at the scene by Clearfield Emergency Medical Services, fire personnel and towing services.
