Obituary Notice: Jeanne Ann Mullins

Jeanne Ann Mullins, 68, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at her home.

Born Jan. 9, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Borrelli Jr. and Frances (Houpt) Borrelli.  Her mother survives and lives in DuBois.

She was a graduate of Central Christian High School in the class of 1962.  In high school, she was the Cardinal Ball Queen and the Basketball Queen.

She was employed at the Federal Aviation Administration Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Arlington, VA while attending Georgetown University.  She returned to DuBois to work briefly in the office of Maple Avenue Hospital.   She also worked at Sears in the office for five years.

She earned an Associate’s degree in accounting from the DuBois Business College.  She was then the accountant for the DuBois Housing Authority for more than 36 years before retiring in 2011.

She was a life-long member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.  She loved spending time with her friends and family, and was known for her parties.  She also enjoyed traveling and playing board games.

She is survived by her son, Aaron Mullins and his wife, Aggie of Marion, AR and her daughter, Alicia Mullins of DuBois; four grandchildren, Caila Mullins Aubrie Mullins, Michael Mullins and Martha Mullins; two brothers, Michael Borrelli and David Borrelli, both of DuBois; and three sisters, Sarah Pedulla of DuBois, Jolene Burley of Newberry, Fla. and Lisa Pettrey of Flatwoods, KY.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jason Mullins.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.

A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with the Fahter Matias Quimno as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
