Halloween Events Slated at Penn State DuBois

DUBOIS – A variety of events celebrating Halloween are planned at Penn State DuBois this year.   Area families and individuals are invited to participate in any or all activities that will range from fun to frightening, offering something for people of all ages.

Fall Family Fun Night is planned for Oct. 25.  Safe Trick or Treat will take place in the campus gymnasium from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.  A screening of the movie Monsters University is then scheduled for 7 p.m. in the gym.  Those attending are asked to bring chairs or blankets to sit on during the movie, to enjoy an indoor drive-in experience.

Fall Family Fun Night is sponsored by Penn State DuBois, Passages, and the Drug Free Communities Coalition of Clearfield and Jefferson counties.

The Delta Mu Sigma Honor Society plans to hold a Haunted House from 7 p.m. until midnight Oct. 25-26, in the Smeal Building. Admission to the haunted house is $5 per person.

Proceeds benefit THON, the Penn State Dance Marathon for pediatric cancer research, and the Delta Mu Sigma Scholarship Fund.  Those who attend the Safe Trick or Treat will receive $3 off the price of admission for the haunted house.
